Understanding Scale Options
Image scaling is the process of resizing an image.
Your image scaling options include:
Original – This option keeps the image in its original size.
Fill – This option shrinks or enlarges your image to fill the specified area’s width. It keeps everything in perspective, but may cut off the top and bottom of larger images or stretch small images beyond recognition. This option is best for horizontal or panoramic images.
Stretch – This option allows you to fit the entire image in the specified area. The image may be stretched or shrinked to fit the area’s dimensions.
Fit – This option shrinks or enlarges your image to fit the specified area’s height. Everything stays in perspective, but the sides of larger images may be cut off.
