Customizing Slideshow Transition Effects

Slide transitions are the animation-like effects that occur in the slideshow when one image moves to the next. You can control the speed of each slide transition effect in the Slideshow panel.

1. Click on the slideshow to open the Slideshow panel. Select Layout.

2. Select Layout Effects.

3. Under the Transition Effects section, select the desired effect: none, horizontal slide, vertical slide or cross fade.

  • None – under this effect setting, your slides will not change on their own; your visitors will need to use the < > arrows to move from slide to slide.
  • Horizontal Slide – under this effect setting, your slides will move from one to the next by sliding in and out from right to left.
  • Vertical Slide – under this effect setting, your slides will move from one to the next by sliding upwards.
  • Cross Fade – under this effect setting, your slides will move from one to the next by fading in and out.

4. Select the desired Slide Interval setting. This controls the speed of each slide transition effect. The higher the numeric value, the longer it takes to move from one slide to the next.

5. Check the Auto start box if you want the slideshow to auto-start.

Changes are auto-saved and will apply automatically.
