Adding a Skype contact button on your website

You can add a Skype contact button on your website to let your visitors get in touch with you in just one click. That way, they can easily make a voice call or send an instant chat message to you, right from your website, whether they are using a computer or a mobile device.

*NOTE: In order to receive calls or chat messages from your website, you will need to enable the settings in your Skype account. (Learn more about updating your Skype privacy settings)

 

Adding a Skype contact button on your web page

1. From the left menu on your editor, click Add.

2. Select Contact

3. Select Skype. A placeholder Skype button will be added to your web page. 

 

4. Drag the button to the desired location on your web page. 

5. Click on the Skype button to open the Skype Button panel.

6. Click Edit Account.

 

7. On the Account Settings panel, enter your Skype username in the Your Skype Username field. 

 

8. Click on the Options tab to select the desired options for:

Call – check this box if you want to allow visitors to contact you with a voice call from your website. Here is an example of the Call button:

Chat – check this box if you want to allow visitors to contact you with a instant chat message from your website. Here is an example of the Chat button:

Chat and Call - You can allow both call and chat. When you allow both call and chat, the contact options will be displayed in a drop-down menu when a visitor hovers over the Skype button on your website. Here's an example of what the button looks like before and after your visitor hovers over it:
